Bowfell, The Crinkles, Cold Pike & Pike ‘O Blisco

Lovely weather and nice snowy conditions up high meant that it was a day that we just had to get out onto the hills. Myself and George ascended Bowfell via the Band. After a spot of lunch on the top we traversed the Crinkles over to Cold Pike and finished off the day with a snowy slog up to the summit of Pike O Blisco. One thing is for sure, the dogs were knackered!

Blencathra via Halls Fell followed by Sharp Edge (Winter)

The usual route up Halls Fell to the summit then down to Scales tarn and back up Sharp Edge. Great conditions and fab views!

Scafell via Lord’s Rake & The West Wall Traverse

An exhilerating day as myself and Richard Warren climbed Scafell via Lord’s Rake & The West Wall Traverse. After reaching the top of the climb we descended to Fox’s tarn for some lunch and then took the East Buttress Terrace back up to Mickledore. We enjoyed a lovely warm descent down Lingmell Nose in the afternoon sun.
